Niegazowana.net is basically an independent label which does not produce music on a physical support, like cd, but only as audio files.

The idea of Niegazowana.net comes from the observation of the changes produced by technological improvements in all the music aspects: from recording to publishing and distribution. Nowadays every band can afford to set up a small computer based project studio and can produce music which sounds almost like pro. The exponential development of Internet and broadband services are changing the net into a powerful distribution media which also dramatically cheaper than old distribution methods.

It is very simple: we want to produce only the music we like and we think it's interesting in some way, without any genre restrictions.
The fact that music is not produced on a physical support doesn't mean we don't care about quality; on the contrary we decided to use the flac which is a lossless format that means that it can reduce file size without any quality loss. A decompressed flac file is 1:1 copy of the original audio file.
We also use the mp3 format but this is only because mp3 is de-facto standard of music on the net and it is easier to play on portable players and other devices like that.

We understand that nowadays everybody can freely publish music on the web and this is surely positive. But with the widening of the musical offer on the net it can be more difficult to find good quality music.
It's our opinion that a label should now become a sort of quality check for the music it produces: a band produced by Niegazowana.net must conform to our artistic and musical tastes and we guarantee this to our potential listeners and buyers.

FLAC stands for Free Lossless Audio Codec, an audio format similar to MP3, but lossless, meaning that audio is compressed in FLAC without any loss in quality.
